Miami Fishing Report, Report for 3-3-09

Had the pleasure of taking Javier from Texas and his brother and nephew for a day of fishing in south Florida. We loaded up with baits in the early hours of a very cold(for south Florida)morning. The plan was to try to get some kings than target a sailfish, we were able to get the guys some kingfish steaks for dinner that night, but we went 0 for 2 on sails. Javier and crew did have the chance to see a few sails near the baits as well as a few that we saw free jumping.The reports on the radio seemed slow as the winds were blowing pretty strong. It is always a thrill to see someone catch their 1st fish in south Florida.
