We headed offshore with hopes of getting some dolphin as the winds have been blowing east for a few days, we trolled out to 1000 feet without seeing any signs of life, no weeds, no debris, no birds.....So we decided to head north when we got a nice knockdown on the short line, it would be a 15 lb. cow, we decided to try the kite for a sail fish with a few goggles but no takers, although the kingfish did show up giving us some action, and then we finished off the day with a nice grouper. Looks like the dolphin are headed our way, we expect the bite to get hot very soon, so if you want to get in on some of the offshore action here in South Florida, be sure to give us a call.
