Miami Fishing Report, Kingfish 4-1-10

Finally had the chance to fish as we have not fished the last few weekends due to the fact that I was in class to become a certified scuba diver, we managed to find some nice pilchards right outside the cut and immediately headed for the kingfish grounds, we made quick work of a few kings and then headed offshore looking for wahoo, we were unable to find any wahoo but managed to find some scattered weed/grass around the 800 ft. mark which had some schoolie dolphin on it, we had 1 that took the bait and the rest of the school had lock jaw !!!! We continued south in search of wahoo but nobody was home. There was plenty of life out there as we saw plenty of dolphin (flipper), a sunfish, etc. We will be back at it on Saturday, until next time.
