Went out for a family fun day with my wife and her best friend, we were greeted with sunny skies and a brisk “easterly” wind, we sent out the trolling spread in approx. 700 feet, we had a small dolphin take 1 of the long baits only to spit the hook, then we noticed a few buoys with some rope so we headed over for a look and saw plenty of life, including some dolphin that had lock jaw as we pitched at them with live pilchards…..we then decided to troll past the buoys a few more times, on the next pass we boated a nice Wahoo, so we had Easter dinner taken care. Next up was a big Skipjack Tuna; all in all it was a great way to spend 3 hours on Easter Sunday. Seems like the water is heating up and so is the fishing.
Until Next Time
